As the lyrics of a classic hit says, "If a picture paints a thousand words."
True to its meaning, a picture can paint a thousand words. It can capture the stillness of joy, the drama of black & white, and the throwback of a sepia. A photograph can stimulate an idea. It provides a lot of expression, giving a crisp to a memory. Back when I was young, I barely recall my aunt would borrow an 110 Konika to her friend, just to capture the best moments of our family, from graduation ceremonies to birthday parties. Back then, I was fascinated on how a certain camera works, why films came from its negative base transforming to a photo. And I said to myself, when I grow up, I'll buy a good camera and capture our family's great memories. Seven years ago, I bought a DSLR, and it's payback time. I started photography year 2009, and it made me see the wonders of smiles and laughters. It gave me a sense of freedom to see what is beyond an ordinary angle. It enhanced my eyes to discover the heart of people by looking through their eyes. Photography never failed me to continue reaching different destinations, capturing extraordinary memories that leave endless meaning of life. #WordPhotographyDay #Photography
